Job Description:
This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating day to day operations of mailroom activities, samples processing and print services which may include technical guidance to subordinate workers. This position provides all services, management and efficient operation of customer contracted services relating to mailroom, inbound and outbound samples processing activities and onsite print requirements. The Mailroom Supervisor will also be responsible to help determine the actual needs for material, equipment and staffing of these areas as well as managing various vendors relationships related to mailroom and inbound areas
Job Responsibilities:
- Coaching of staff on progressive improvement in the areas of dealing with complaints, time management, prioritize workload, and appropriate push back, when it makes sense according to the business requirements
- Oversee and follow up on samples team and make sure they are completing their tasks on a timely manner
- Responsible for overseeing and train staff on day-to-day procedures and policies and customer service requirements. Monitor staff for compliance
- Handle associate requests, questions, problem solve and respond to associates
Job Requirements:
- Strong problem solving skills including analysis of information (i.e. requirements; description of problems); provide solutions with cost implications to effectively resolve issues and execute strategic solutions; process improvement mindset with ability to identify root cause of issues and implement corrective action
- Provides direction, advice and guidance to team members on day to day key activities; reviews project performance and provides feedback, mentors, trains and is a resource to answer questions and discuss best practices
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience with frontline customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills with ability to influence business partners, to build and maintain collaborative relationships to effectively identify business opportunities
