Job Responsibilities:

Install supports, valves, piping and control systems; Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings and flush system
Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size;
Weld, braze, cement, solder and thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping system;
Remove and replace worn components and reactivate system;
Test system for leaks using testing equipment;

Job Requirements:

Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications; Instruct apprentices; Liaise with management, engineers and other trades
Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
Drug test; Criminal record check; Basic security clearance
Effective interpersonal skills; Team player
Steamfitter and Pipefitter Red Seal Certificate; Steamfitter and Pipefitter Trade Certification
Fast-paced environment; Handling heavy loads; Physically demanding; Standing for extended periods; Bending, crouching, kneeling
