Job Description:

As a program consultant, the successful applicant will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and coordinating continuing education opportunities for pharmacy professionals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review and edit content developed by the CPDPP team
  • Mentor pharmacy interns during experiential learning placements with CPDPP
  • Develop written content, learning activities, courses, and presentations on various topics for pharmacy professionals
  • Review and update existing courses
  • Implement feedback from evaluations into current and future CPDPP programs and offerings
  • Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts
  • Other duties as assigned by the Associate Director
  • Ensure that learning content and activities meet accreditation standards

Job Requirements:

  • Interest in regulatory and competency assurance requirements
  • Communicate clearly with a keen attitude towards collaboration
  • Strong interest in adult education
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Possess a high degree of professionalism
  • Strong knowledge of the rapidly changing needs and scope of practice of pharmacy professionals
  • Ability to manage and support multiple projects simultaneously
  • A first professional degree in Pharmacy (e.g., Bachelor’s degree or PharmD)
  •  At least 3 years of pharmacy practice experience. Preference will be given to applicants with current community pharmacy experience.
