Job Description:
As a program consultant, the successful applicant will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and coordinating continuing education opportunities for pharmacy professionals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review and edit content developed by the CPDPP team
- Mentor pharmacy interns during experiential learning placements with CPDPP
- Develop written content, learning activities, courses, and presentations on various topics for pharmacy professionals
- Review and update existing courses
- Implement feedback from evaluations into current and future CPDPP programs and offerings
- Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts
- Other duties as assigned by the Associate Director
- Ensure that learning content and activities meet accreditation standards
Job Requirements:
- Interest in regulatory and competency assurance requirements
- Communicate clearly with a keen attitude towards collaboration
- Strong interest in adult education
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Possess a high degree of professionalism
- Strong knowledge of the rapidly changing needs and scope of practice of pharmacy professionals
- Ability to manage and support multiple projects simultaneously
- A first professional degree in Pharmacy (e.g., Bachelor’s degree or PharmD)
- At least 3 years of pharmacy practice experience. Preference will be given to applicants with current community pharmacy experience.
