Job Description:
Reporting to the General Supervisor, Maintenance Processing, the Processing Materials Coordinator is responsible for the coordination for maintenance activities within the Processing Department. This position combines the responsibilities for materials coordination and documentation improvements to ensure resources support the execution of all maintenance activities. Close collaboration with the Planning, Scheduling, Execution, and Materials groups will drive continuous improvements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
- Validate the delivery status of all material scheduled and provide mitigating actions for issues
- Assist with material management of cores and parts returns, shipping requirements, material issues and warranty claims
- Verify availability of service manuals and technical documentation for processing equipment
- Order special tools or equipment and coordinate part requirements with purchasing, planning, and execution
- Assist crews with break-in work orders, parts sourcing, and availability
- Complete IARs for new items, parts description changes and min/max changes supporting Plant Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations
- Manage the Plant Parts Book, recognize issues and initiate corrective actions; build new books
Job Requirements:
- Strong digital literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite® and computer maintenance management software (CMMS)
- Practical knowledge of processing equipment and related parts recognition is an asset
- Knowledge of maintenance planning and materials management best practices
- Experience working in an industrial materials management or inventory control environment
- Dynamics AX experience is an asset
