Job Description:
The Associate, Human Resources will act as a business partner for departmental clients and will provide advice and operational support all aspects of Human Resources including talent management, total rewards, health, wellness and safety, employee management and retention strategies
Job Responsibilities:
- In collaboration with the entire team, proactively identify initiatives to enhance the Foundations’ Total Rewards and Talent Strategy;
- Keep apprised of best practices to ensure meaningful and high-quality and employee engagement as well identify opportunities to improve services and productivity.
- Act as a subject matter expert for the Foundation’s HR system;
- Participate in the design, development and training of employment policies and procedures;
Job Requirements:
- Ability to work with a high degree of discretion in an environment that requires complete confidentiality;
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and high attention to detail;
- Working knowledge of the Employment Standards Act and relevant legislation;
- Ability to persuade, influence and negotiate in a collaborative manner;
