Job Description:

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Lead, you will work closely with IT teams to interpret and translate application requirements into test requirements, test plans and test cases while leveraging deep knowledge of a business domain. You will also apply proven analytic and problem-solving skills to help validate IT processes through careful testing.

Job Responsibilities:

Assisting in the development of change control processes, practices, and guidelines for new and existing technologies
Collaborating with development teams on functional and non-functional testing
Conducting internal audits to measure adherence to quality standards
Recommending application improvements to development teams
Building, maintaining, and executing automated and manual test cases
Reporting on progress and results to project stakeholders
Interpreting and transforming product requirements into test requirements, plans, and cases
Cultivating and disseminating knowledge of quality assurance best practices
Identifying opportunities for automation and building automated test scripts
Creating and analyzing formal test results to discover and report any defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws

Job Requirements:

Strong knowledge of system testing best practices and methodologies
Experience with SQL query development, automated testing, and reporting software
Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Organized
Experience developing in Java and/or C#
Detail-oriented
Proven data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities
Able to work effectively in a team environment with minimal supervision
Experience testing APIs, services, drivers, or web and database application
A strong communicator (both written and verbal) and presenter
