Job Description:
The Administrative Assistant, EL will provide service to the whole department, including Live Actor Simulation with a range of administrative support including the implementation and maintenance of internal office practices and procedures to facilitate day-to-day operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Providing direction to volunteer or part-time staff and coordinate with other departments and faculty members as needed
- Providing research support
- The maintenance of departmental records and website
- Providing budgetary and statistical analysis/reports for both Experiential Learning and its subsidiaries
Job Requirements:
- Database applications
- Strong interpersonal, networking and teamwork skills required for working in a highly collaborative, creative team environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc)
- Organizing events involving external partners
- Basic accounting and bookkeeping skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of digital/social media (HTML, web administration, social marketing, etc)
- Experience in word processing, report preparation
- Office procedures/practices, including scheduling and event coordination
- Working knowledge of adult learning principles, administrative policies and procedures
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
