Job Description:

The Administrative Assistant, EL will provide service to the whole department, including Live Actor Simulation with a range of administrative support including the implementation and maintenance of internal office practices and procedures to facilitate day-to-day operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Providing direction to volunteer or part-time staff and coordinate with other departments and faculty members as needed
  • Providing research support
  • The maintenance of departmental records and website
  • Providing budgetary and statistical analysis/reports for both Experiential Learning and its subsidiaries

Job Requirements:

  • Database applications
  • Strong interpersonal, networking and teamwork skills required for working in a highly collaborative, creative team environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc)
  • Organizing events involving external partners
  • Basic accounting and bookkeeping skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of digital/social media (HTML, web administration, social marketing, etc)
  • Experience in word processing, report preparation
  • Office procedures/practices, including scheduling and event coordination
  • Working knowledge of adult learning principles, administrative policies and procedures
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
