Job Description:
The Customer Operations Program Manager provides a single point of contact while driving the lifecycle from original concept through to final implementation with a focus on enhancing business systems, business processes, productivity, efficiency and integration.
Job Responsibilities:
- Consult with IT for the allocation of resources when scope, priorities and implementation dates change, while minimizing business disruptions
- Develop detailed work plans, schedules, program estimates, resource plans, business requirements, user acceptance testing along with status reports
- Working proactively to ensure that projects and changes are communicated appropriately and delivered with minimal impact to the business
- Lead the program and project management activities required for the successful delivery of multiple medium to large projects, in a professional, timely manner
- Work closely with cross functional business units to ensure a cohesive approach to overall project management at OpenText
- Complete gap analysis by gaining a thorough understanding of OpenText system processes and the acquired companies business processes and systems
Job Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization
- Bachelor’s degree, college diploma or equivalent experience
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects/tasks in a fast paced and changing environment, with minimal supervision
- Understanding of a customer support environment beneficial; including Technical Support and Maintenance Renewals, with the ability to recommend solutions for possible improvements
- Experience with acquisition integration projects within global software enterprise environment or technology field is an asset
- Minimum 5-10 years of program/project management experience with a proven track record of successful project implementations in a global software enterprise environment or technology field
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to facilitate meetings and translate requirements into defined business solutions
