International Student Accounts Manager

Job Description:

Reporting to the Associate Director, International Student Services, the successful candidate provides International Student Accounts leadership and guidance to colleagues and key stakeholders. The incumbent will support staff with regards to scholarships, tuition payments, refunds, as well as agency commissions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage all project funding, reporting and other financial issues properly and according to the terms of the contract/agreement
  • Manage and analyze workload completion, accuracy, and distribution of work across team
  • Determine solutions and review processes to challenges involving tasks that directly impact student finance
  • Manage year-end fiscal processes and reporting requirements for international department
  • Oversee and maintain system documentation, procedural guidelines, manuals, training, and guidance for staff
  • Manage overall coordination of tasks while ensuring assigned deadlines are accomplished for term start/end, year-end, and any other reporting deadlines

Job Requirements:

  • Strong communication and prioritizing skills
  • Proven organizational skills
  • Experience servicing culturally diverse clients preferably within an academic setting
  • Three (3) year diploma/degree in Accounting, Business or International Business or similar field of study
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Analytical and detail oriented
  • Minimum three (3) years experience working with banking systems and/or student accounts
  • Proven experience with conflict resolution and people management
  • Second language preferred
