Job Description:
Creating, modifying and executing software test plans and test cases dealing with complex analytical data
Job Responsibilities:
- Identifying opportunities to automate or streamline repetitive testing
- Testing REST API using open source tools
- Recording and management of software defects & reviewing functional and technical documentation in order to identify requirements for test plans, test cases and test scripts and provide feedback
- Performance benchmark testing
- Contributing in the design, development and execution of manual and automation scripts
Job Requirements:
- Database technology – Microsoft SQL Server, DB2
- Experience in writing scripts using Karate automation framework, Jira, GitLab
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer or Software Engineering or 3-5 years of experience in software testing on Java platform
- Experience in one or more of the following programming languages and tools: Java, Python, XML, SQL, JSON, VB
- Experience with REST API testing tools such as SOAP UI, JMeter, Postman and other automation toolsets
- Experience in Linux operating systems
