Job Description:
As part of the ESG team, the successful candidate’s role includes managing the proposal process from end-to-end and developing compelling sales content for our ESG services. The ideal candidate will provide organizational and communication skills to support our multi-functional and cross-disciplinary ESG team. The candidate will own the proposal development process and should be accustomed to developing and delivering strong, client centric, compliant, high-quality, and innovative proposals within a deadline driven environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Act as the central point of contact in project managing the end-to-end proposal process and for sales content development.
- Develop proposal templates and provide training to enable the business to create their own proposals for low-value deals.
- Search for relevant qualifications and experts across the KPMG Canadian and Global network.
- Write and edit proposal and orals documents that are client-focused and innovative in both approach and creative execution.
- Ensure that written submissions meet RFP requirements and are KPMG Brand and Regulatory compliant.
- Own the quality-review process throughout the proposal lifecycle spell-checking, proofreading and page turns.
- Develop the pursuit strategy, win themes and differentiators with the ESG team and act as a trusted advisor throughout the proposal’s lifecycle.
- Act as subject matter expert for ESG proposal content, educating broader proposal and geographic teams to identify, coordinate and respond to regional opportunities
- Ensure mandatory requirements are highlighted and met and perform compliance checks.
Job Requirements:
- Excellent prioritization skills to manage a high volume of multiple, disparate projects through to completion
- Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills is a must
- Quick study and self-starter capable of working with little day-to-day supervision
- Experience in Environmental, Social and Corporate Responsibility is an asset
- Advanced digital proficiency, including MS office
- Capable to work effectively within deadlines and short-time frames
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively and proactively with a wide range of professionals at every level of the organization on a day-to-day basis
- BA/BS degree in English, Journalism or Commerce
- Understanding of business development / sales processes and methodologies
- Experience working in a complex matrix-style system and organization structure is an asset
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in proposal/business writing or communications in a national or global organization
- Bilingualism (French and English) is a definite asset
