Job Description:
The Early Learning Centre is seeking a certified Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Offer a play-based, emergent curriculum
- Create, adapt, and maintain an environment that protects the health and safety of children and adults
- Foster social interactions and child development
- Observe, record, and document children’s work
- Mentor adult students in the Early Childhood Education and Care program at Holland College Other duties as assigned
- Build relationships with children, parents, and co-workers
Job Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal, communication (written and oral) and relationship building skills
- Please note, if you are the successful candidate, you will be required to provide a criminal background check and vulnerable sector check. A
- Bachelor’s Degree or a Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education
- Early Childhood Educator III certification is required. Certification in First Aid/CPR are required
