Job Description:
Information systems technicians are information technology (IT) specialists who oversee the deployment, implementation, administration and maintenance of multi-platform networking computing environments and various voice and data processing networks. They are part of a large team that provides communications and information services to the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) across the country and around the world.
Job Responsibilities:
- Voice and data processing network equipment and servers.
- Wired and wireless information and communication systems.
- Broadband fiber optic and copper wire technologies.
Job Requirements:
- This position requires applicants to have completed at least Grade 10 (Secondary 4 in Quebec), in accordance with provincial standards with Grade 10 Academic Mathematics and Grade 10 Science. It is possible that studies abroad will be recognized.
