Job Description:
Join the Finning Canada family, part of the world’s largest Caterpillar dealer. We are currently seeking Material Supply Assistants for our busy location in Calgary, AB. The Material Supply Assistant is responsible for general warehouse duties including picking and packing orders, loading of parts trucks, verifying bill of landings, shipping orders to meet strict deadlines and warehouse racking dismantling and reassembling.
Job Responsibilities:
- Other general warehouse duties as required
- Picking customer and branch parts orders
- Loading and unloading of the parts trucks
- Shipping and Receiving
- Packing and labeling parts orders for shipment
Job Requirements:
- Hold or be willing to achieve crane, forklift and related safety training certifications such as WHIMS and TDG
- Previous parts warehousing and/or heavy equipment experience would be considered an asset
- Forklift training, and experience working with radio frequency and bar-coding technology would be an asset
- A strong commitment to safety is imperative
- Minimum grade 12 education
