Job Description:

Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full-cycle recruitment for Sales vacancies across Canada and maintaining an active pipeline of both active and passive candidates. You will act as a strategic business partner and educate internal clients on internal policies and HR legislation. We will also regularly assess your ability to bring the team coffee and baked goods.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in projects within the HR Department
  • Come up with creative sourcing strategies and represent FedEx Express at job fairs/ open houses
  • Provide mentorship to employees interested in internal career opportunities
  • Be able to discuss all seasons of Game of Thrones or House of Cards – bonus points for both
  • Monitor turnover statistics and regularly communicate with Sales leaders

Job Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and negotiation skills
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other social media platforms
  • A Sherlock Holmes hat is optional but encouraged
  • Experience using assessment tools as pre-selection tools
  • CHRP/CHRL preferred
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent presentation, communication (written & verbal) & human relations skills
  • 4 years of recruitment experience, with at least 2 years of B2B recruitment
  • Experience using Workday/other ATS system
  • Work with a strong sense of urgency
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent, Human Resources/Business is preferred
