Job Description:
As a Fairmont Gold Lounge Attendant in the Fairmont Gold Lounge, you will ensure all guests receive exceptional service by consistently offering professional, friendly, warm and engaging service.
Job Responsibilities:
- Replenish food and beverage offerings in the Fairmont Gold Lounge throughout the day
- Clearing and resetting of tables in addition to the replenishment of flatware, crockery, and glassware.
- Assist Fairmont Gold Supervisors on “warming rooms” adhering to Fairmont Gold Standards procedure
- Maintain cleanliness of all food & beverage preparation areas within the Fairmont Gold Lounge.
- Washing dishes and maintain entire cleanliness of the Fairmont Gold Pantry. Complete monthly cleaning checklist and deep cleaning projects
- Organizing and maintain cleanliness of the Fairmont Gold Storage Room
- Adhere to food sanitation and safety standards at all times.
- Provide food and beverage service to the Fairmont Gold floors
- Ensure the Fairmont Gold floor is free of Room Service trays
- Other duties as assigned
- Napkins drop off and pick up
- Set up and serving of breakfast and evening hors d’oeuvres in the Fairmont Gold lounge, working closely with culinary department to pick up and drop off food
- Controlling inventories and ordering pertinent supplies for use in Fairmont Gold
- Oversee and ensure the quality and appearance of all culinary presentations and pantry areas
Job Requirements:
- Manitoba’s Serving It Safe Certificate required
- This position requires the successful candidate to have a flexible schedule and the ability to work a variety of shifts including early morning start times, weekdays, weekends and or holidays.
- Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi task are required
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
