Job Description:
Have experience with businesses, partnerships, corporations, or trusts; acquired in a provincial tax administration, a public practice, a Para public practice or an industry performing at least one of the following functions:
Job Responsibilities:
- Interpreting statutes administered by the CRA.
- Prepare, review or approve tax returns or financial statements for corporations or trusts or GST/HST returns.
- Conducting or managing audits to ensure compliance under the Income Tax Act, Excise Tax Act or provincial tax acts.
- Administering accounting policies of a partnership, corporation or trust.
- Providing tax advice under the Income Tax Act, Excise Tax Act or provincial tax acts.
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of twelve (12) cumulative months of experience in the last five (5) years
- CRA’s minimum education standard for AU
- Willingness to travel
- Willingness to work overtime
- Valid Driver’s license or personal mobility to a degree normally associated with the possession of a driver’s license
