Job Description:

The Centre for Continuing Education at Concordia University provides part-time employment to a range of subject-matter experts to teach in short-target courses and programs. Teaching tasks include the preparation of course and course plan, delivery of course, evaluating student performance and grading student work and grade submission. Instructors attend departmental meetings and attend professional development training activities related to the program.

Job Responsibilities:

Employ a suitable notation for modeling solutions to problems.
Select and exploit appropriate features of Java programming language to implement solutions.
Employ an object-oriented approach to design and implement efficient algorithms that use appropriate data structures.
Implement object-oriented models in Java.
Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of various algorithms and data structures.

Job Requirements:

BA/MA in Computer Science, or equivalent
Experience in applied UML in a professional role
5 years relevant work experience in related field or equivalent, and 3 years relevant teaching experience or equivalent
