Job Responsibilities:

  • Create an inclusive environment
  • Communicate with other coaches and the on-ice facilitator
  • Create a welcoming environment for all participants
  • Teach badminton skills in a small group setting
  • Provide a fun, engaging and positive atmosphere for participants

Job Requirements:

  • A satisfactory Police Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Check is required at time of offer
  • Strong badminton skills and able to effectively teach those skills to non-players
  • Standard first Aid with CPR C
  • Ability to respect and maintain participant confidentiality
  • Experience working with children
  • Experience working with individuals with special needs is an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Full availability is required for scheduled program days and times
