Job Description:
Reporting to the Team Lead, Configuration Management, the Configuration Management Specialist will be responsible for maintaining an accurate Configuration Management Database (CMDB) for on-premises and public cloud infrastructure across the Enterprise.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform periodic attestation of infrastructure configuration items
- Ensure data is available in the CMDB to support stakeholder processes (e.g., ITSM, Security and Architecture)
- Manage the population of the CMDB per configuration management plan, process, and policy
- Monitor and perform periodic review of CMDB health metrics with CI owners – identify and take action to resolve issues
- Maintain in-scope CI classes and key attributes
Job Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in Configuration Management or similar type of experience
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow Asset and Configuration Management modules
- General technical knowledge of Azure Cloud environments
- Working Knowledge of ServiceNow Service Mapping and Auto Discovery
- Certified ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA)
