Job Description:

Reporting to the Manager Physical Security Corporate Campuses and Events, the Security Coordinator will have proven experience in an emergency management or response role, and the coordination of departmental activities, with a strong understanding of physical security systems and associated controls.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely and collaboratively with CTC Contract Security, Canada Square and RioCan Security providers
  • Monitor CCTV Surveillance system and access control system alarms and respond accordingly
  • Conduct regular audits of keys, doors, access control and CCTV to ensure systems are functioning normally
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate standard operating procedures designed to protect and mitigate risk in the office environment
  • Responsible for the daily administration of the physical security and access control systems, including employee, visitor and contractor badging and controls at responsible locations

Job Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of physical security systems, associated components and basic computer software/technical skills
  • 2-3 years’ experience working in Corporate Security, Emergency Management, Loss Prevention, or related field
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite software
  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License and First Aid
