Job Description:
Design of civil systems associated with municipal water and/or wastewater treatment and conveyance facilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparation of project specifications and contract documents
- Additional responsibilities will include client communication and management; assistance with proposal preparation; contract preparation and negotiation; coordination with regulatory agencies; project planning, budgeting, and scheduling
- Prepare documentation for design projects and reports
- Prepare construction cost estimates
- Perform construction inspections
- Perform constructability reviews
- Lead construction administration
- Design of systems associated with lift stations, pump stations and other mechanical equipment associated with water and wastewater utilities
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering + 4 years of related experience with civil engineering, planning, design and construction inspection, municipal water and wastewater treatment, conveyance and pumping infrastructure or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Registered EIT
- Training and experience in project management
- Experience in proposal writing and job scoping
- MMCD Contract Administration certification
- 5+ years of related experience
