AECOM SUdbury is looking for an Intermediate Civil Technician.
Job Responsibilities:
- Complete highway designs using InRoads or OpenRoads software
- Carry out field visits
- Prepare preliminary and detailed design drawings, engineering specifications and contract documents
- Work independently as well as collaboratively with others
- Follow applicable design standards and drafting requirements
- Commit to self-development and ongoing professional development
- Prepare drawings from detailed notes and specifications
- Assist with engineering calculations, and maintain project documentation
Job Requirements:
- 1+ year of experience using InRoads or OpenRoads software
- AutoCAD experience
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering + 2 years relevant civil engineering experience OR Civil Engineering Technician/Technology Diploma + 4 years relevant experience
- Valid Ontario driver’s license
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
- Ideally 5+ years of experience in the Civil Engineering field
