Job Description:
As a part of our continued growth, our AECOM Winnipeg, MB office has an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Engineering Project Manager to assist in the delivery of major water and wastewater treatment plant upgrades. We are seeking a candidate who is a registered Professional Engineer with at least 10 years’ experience related specifically to construction management of alternative delivery projects, and water and/or wastewater infrastructure engineering.
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparation of technical memoranda, planning studies and design reports
- Responsible for regular project progress reports to the clients and AECOM Managers.
- Engage, hands-on, in the technical execution of client assignments through to successful project completion.
- Stays abreast of industry standards and approaches and implements best practices.
- Design of water/ wastewater infrastructure including the mechanical and biological systems.
- Manage job safety at all times.
- Ensure project work is undertaken is accordance with corporate health and safety policies and quality management systems
Job Requirements:
- 15+ years of progressive experience including minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role.
- Solid technical skills in one of the practice areas of water/wastewater treatment, or municipal/industrial infrastructure, developed within a professional services environment, ideally with consulting engineering experience
- Experience leading and developing multi discipline project teams that may reside in multiple offices and in multiple countries
- Experience in alternative delivery models including DB, PDB, DBFOM.
- Experience in working with geographically dispersed project teams that have successfully delivered major design projects within budget and on schedule
- Proven project management skills including PM certifications.
